Carburetor

The first chamber of the carburetor works at the normal loading, the second chamber turns on, when the engine works with full loading. The butterfly valve is put in action by the vacuum device at the expense of the vacuum made in an air diffuzor.

All jets and air openings are picked up when manufacturing so that to reach the best capacity under any conditions. For this reason calibre of jets not to change, however certain changes can be carried out, for example, at engine speeding up at which it is necessary to know, it is necessary to replace what jets. The bigger number on a jet indicates a bigger opening so the main jet and an idling jet with a large number give richer mix while big air jets give poorer mix. The carburetor has the following signs:

The butterfly valve of the second chamber is put in action by the vacuum device at the expense of the vacuum made in an air diffuzor. The vacuum channel is in air diffuzor of the first and second chambers and the membrane is put in action by the general depression.

The accelerating pump serves for good dispersal of the car. It is a question of the piston pump which is connected to a butterfly valve. The accelerating pump works together with the adjusting valve.

The valve of high capacity is put in action by depression in a butterfly valve and improves supply of fuel on high speeds. At the established carburetor instead of this valve the valve of adjustment of quality of a mix is established.

The established damper of a butterfly valve provides soft closing of a butterfly valve at an otpuskaniye of a pedal of gas.

The carburetor is equipped with starting automatic equipment. It heats up an electric heating element.

The adjusting valve serves for increase in number of single turns, i.e., for example, at the established servoupravleniye is provided that single turns are supported by constants and do not decrease at additional load of the engine. The separate jet of idling which is near a usual jet of idling is for this purpose established.

The electric valve of interruption of supply of fuel interrupts supply of fuel to the carburetor when back wheels move the nakaty.

Removal and carburetor installation

  1. Remove the air filter (Undressed the Air filter).
  2. Disconnect shtekerny connection of a plait of cables of the engine. It connects starting automatic equipment and the adjusting valve of interruption of supply of fuel, the device of increase in single turns, the accelerating pump, a regulator of quality of a mix, and also the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.
  3. Not to damage the tip, it is necessary for disconnecting according to the following instructions.
  4. At first remove a back latch, as shown in the top part of an illustration, and squeeze out in the arrow direction. By means of a small screw-driver cast away a lock latch (3) and at the same time put forward a clip in the arrow direction on bottom illustrations. At shutdown of the tip do not pull for cables. Also do not damage consolidation on the bottom party of the plug.

  1. Weaken a drive of butterfly valves on a countersupport, having weakened lock and adjusting nuts and having disconnected the cable end from a driving segment of the carburetor.
  2. Remove from the carburetor fuel and vacuum pipelines.
  3. Weaken four nuts of the carburetor on the inlet pipeline, remove washers and remove the carburetor. Remove laying between the carburetor and the pipeline and at once put on soaking-up opening a pure rag that extraneous subjects could not get to the engine. Installation of the carburetor is carried out in return to sequence removal. Use new laying of a flange of the inlet pipeline, but before installation check, that both surfaces were pure. Do not use hermetic. After installation of the carburetor execute various adjustments as it is described further.

Dismantling and carburetor assembly

Dismantling of the carburetor is possible, the next moments however should be considered:

  1. The main jets of the carburetor are screwed in from above in the case i.e. to reach jets, it is necessary to uncover the carburetor.
  2. The cover of the carburetor can be removed, after a detachment of a connecting bar, a driving bar of the pump (a spring latch and a lock ring), a returnable spring, a persistent pin and weakening of bolts.
  3. The majority of jets is in the top part of the case of the carburetor and can be cleared, for example, without further dismantling of the carburetor.
  4. Mixing tubes it is possible to take out a field of a vyvinchivaniye of both adjustment air jets in the middle of carburetor openings.
  5. For check of the accelerating pump it is possible to remove the pump lever.
  6. Sideways the carburetor unscrew a frame of a viewing window and take out glass with laying. Laying should be replaced always, gasoline will follow differently.
  7. To separate the block of butterfly valves from the carburetor case, disconnect a connecting bar between the vacuum device and the lever of a butterfly valve and weaken three bolts of fastening of the block of butterfly valves. Butterfly valves should not act in film.
  8. Do not assort vacuum devices.
  9. Take out a float after expression of its shaft and unscrew the needle valve of a float.
  10. Carefully clear all details and blow the compressed air. Do not use a needle or other sharp subject for pro-cleaning of jets. Laying should be replaced always even if the removed laying still has satisfactory appearance. For check of the accelerating pump fill the poplavkovy chamber with fuel and put in action the pump. Check, that the raspylitelny nozzle left a uniform stream of fuel. Assembly of the carburetor is carried out in return sequence. All adjustments described in the following head which should be carried out on the removed carburetor, it is necessary to execute at assembly.

Carburetor adjustment

Adjustment of fast idling

Check should be carried out on the established carburetor, adjustment — on removed.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Warm up the engine and establish the lever of fast idling on the second step of a step cam, as is shown in an illustration below.

  1. Start the engine and check number of turns by means of a tachometer. Value should lie in limits 2300±200 rpm.
  2. If value does not correspond demanded, remove the carburetor and adjust fast idling.
  3. Establish the lever of fast idling on the second step of a step cam.
  4. By means of a drill measure a gap between edge of a butterfly valve of the first chamber and a carburetor opening. If value lies out of limits 0.63±0.07 mm, adjust the screw (1) (see an illustration above).
  5. Establish the carburetor and check number of turns as it was described above.

Float adjustment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For adjustment or check of level of a float the carburetor is necessary for removing. Before adjustment of level of a float start the engine. Check fuel level sideways the carburetor through an observation port. Level of fuel should lie on the control line.
  2. Otherwise perform the following works:
  3. Remove the carburetor.
  4. Uncover the carburetor with the float located in it.
  5. Overturn a carburetor cover so that the float settled down as is shown in an illustration below.

  1. By means of a drill measure the size "N". It should lie within 9.5 - 10.5 mm.
  2. If value does not correspond demanded, turn in a persistent uvula (4).
  3. Now carefully lift a float in a place designated by an arrow on an illustration above that it rested and measure the size "h" between a surface of a prileganiye of a cover and the upper edge of a float.
  4. If the size lies outside the limits of 43.0 - 44.0 mm, carefully turn in an emphasis of a float (2).

Butterfly valve damper

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For check of work of a damper of a butterfly valve start the engine on idling. Values of single turns and the contents WITH should correspond to requirements.

  2. Connect a tachometer according to the instruction.
  3. Move a butterfly valve bar a hand while the edge of a damper will concern the persistent lever. During this moment the number of turns should make 2500±200 rpm.
  4. If it is required, weaken a lock-nut of a damper and turn the adjusting screw while the number of turns will not correspond to demanded value. Again tighten a lock-nut (see an illustration below).
